THE UTILIZING OF RECYCLED PLASTIC WASTE AS AN ALTERNATIVE FOR ZERO CEMENT PAVING BLOCKS

The problem of plastic waste that needs to be handled and managed optimally can cause environmental damage. This study aims test the compressive strength water absorption value paving blocks made which are designed using a mixed variation V50-50 (50% sand, 50% plastic), V25-75 (25% 75% plastic) V0-100 (0% 100% total proportion mix. method is carried out by melting PP (Polypropylene) mineral glass plastic, mixing with sand based on variations, printing according size block, as sample in form dice. average results show model code has relatively higher than V0-100. 11.53 MPa, followed 9.63 lowest coded 3.70 MPa. influenced optimal percentage between plastic; serves binder for mixture blocks. rate will continue decrease along addition block mixture; 1.44, 0.88, 0.16. research expected applied community make products reduce amount globally.
